All VMSI road traffic equipment is CAD drawn to maintain uniformity. Our staff are diligent in manufacturing the equipment to these drawings. Some assembled drawings are included in this website. Variable Message Signs International (VMSI) is located in Diggers Rest, Victoria, Australia. The Diggers Rest Complex consists of our offices, the Electronics factory, the Manufacturing factory, and our steel cutting shed and our newest addition is the Powder coating shed.

The quality of the equipment you purchase comes from the pride our dedicated staff, take in their workmanship. Most of the components are manufactured on site allowing VMSI to keep the quality high and the costs at a reasonable rate. Our complex is in the country and is surrounded by trees and paddocks. Visitors to the complex are always impressed with our working conditions.

VMSI OFFICE

The office is managed by our Office Manager and Co-Director Cheryl Fletcher Ph.D., the CEO Brian Glassel and our International Sales Manager. When an order is received we check we have all the necessary components before we commence the job.

MANUFACTURING FACTORY

The manufacturing factory is maned by two qualified welders who like to have everything tidy and organized, even to their nuts and bolts.

STEEL CUTTING SHED

The guys build all the trailers and masts etc from the lengths of steel and sheets of aluminium and metal. The steel cutting shed has a guillotine and folder.

POWDER COATING SHED

When a trailer is finished it is prepared for powder coating, when completed it is sent to the electronics factory.

ELECTRONICS FACTORY

The electronics factory is compact for our Electrical Engineer and Technician to organize the fitting of the computer components and character boards and wiring for our road traffic equipment.
