ARROW BOARDS

VMSI Arrow Boards are constructed with aluminium frames and panels and powder coated to give a lightweight durable piece of equipment. VMSI is able to offer both Quartz Halogen and energy efficient LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamps in their product. We also offer the option of a microprocessor controller or solid state switching.

The trailer is easy to manoeuvre into the required position with the rear of the trailer facing the desired operational direction. Disconnect the safety chain from the tow vehicle. Release the jockey wheel and lower. Lift the tow-coupling handle whilst lowering the jockey wheel.

You release the four stabilising jacks and wind them down until they just touch the ground and take the trailer weight. Winch the Arrow Board up to the desired height. Rotate the Arrow Board face to the desired direction.

Use the stabilising jacks by winding each jack down so that the Arrow Board face is perpendicular to the traffic flow. Lock the arrow board into position with a padlock locked through the hand winch. Remove the draw bar and lock the wheels for security. Power up the Arrow Board and select the desired mode. It could not be easier.

When finished switch off power to the Arrow Board. Install the draw bar by removing locks from the wheel chains and winch. Rotate the sign so that the right hand side is facing towards the draw bar. Raise the four stabilising jacks and lock into the travel position. Connect the vehicle up to the draw bar. Connect the safety chain and trailer light connector and you are ready to go.
