The Speed Awareness Trailer is a cost-effective method for assisting in safer road use through traffic compliance with speed restrictions. The large, 450mm L.E.D. display is visible from 300M /1000 feet. The SAT has a compact, see-through design and is easily towed to any location in need of speed monitoring. The SAT is well-suited for operation by roadwork construction companies, councils and law enforcement.

STANDARD FEATURES

The standard features included with the speed awareness trailer are fixed speed limit sign with changeable speeds. The screen contains large L.E.D. 450mm characters. The trailer is constructed with heavy duty, powder-coated steel. The trailer has a removable tow bar for security, with a jockey wheel for ease of movement and stabilizing - leveling jacks. Included is one deep cycle battery in a large lockable battery box. The wheels have locking chains for security when the trailer is parked.

OPTIONAL FEATURES

These include a traffic counter and classifier, a motion sensitive alarm that will alert the sign, and a violator alert if anyone tampers with the sign. There are removable jack handles and a top mounted solar panel.

The radar gun has a detection distance of 1 kilometer, with a head diameter of 80mm, and a beam width of 30cm.

There are two L.E.D. Lamp Matrix Ð 4 AllnGaP L.E.D.'s per pixel characters. The On / Off control is a key switch, The radar input design is microprocessor based and The display legibility is 340M. Each matrix configuration is 7 x 5 optically enhanced pixels 450mm high.

SOLAR GENERATOR

There is one 55-watt single crystal module 3.15 amps @ 17.4 v dc w/load, and one deep cycle 12 volt battery.

The support frame is of high grade RHS 50cmX50cm, with 125 aluminum. The lexan window thickness is 4mm, width 700cm, height 650cm and depth 23cm.
